How to edit Gaussian splats in your browser (no install)
Edit 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) scenes and objects directly in the browser with the EVOVA Editor: open a PLY, SPZ, SOG, .splat or .ksplat file without an account, clean it up, reshape it, grade colors and export or publish.

Summary
The EVOVA Editor (https://app.evova.ai/editor) is a browser-based editor for 3D Gaussian Splatting. Drop a splat file onto the empty editor and start editing right away: no install and no account needed (you only log in to save).
It imports PLY (including compressed PLY), SPZ, .splat, .ksplat, SOG and SOGS (.zip) bundles, streams large PLY files with millions of splats, and exports PLY, compressed PLY, SPZ, .splat, .ksplat, SOG and USD (USDA).
Getting started
- Open https://app.evova.ai/editor in a desktop browser. Without an item it opens an empty editor.
- Drag your splat file onto the editor (or use the import button). Imported files are edited as local items until your first save.
- Switch to Splat edit mode for point-level work; Normal mode handles transforms, camera and scene settings.
- Export to a standard format from the top bar, or save to your account to publish it with the EVOVA web viewer.
What you can do in Splat edit mode
- Select: brush, rectangle, lasso and polygon selection with set / extend / subtract / invert / intersect modes, plus opacity and scale filters and AI material auto-select (color clusters)
- Delete, transform (move / rotate / scale) or detach the selection, with proportional editing so edges blend
- Paint, adjust brightness and opacity, and grab (drag) splats with depth- or alpha-aware brushes
- Clone stamp: copy a selection and stamp it elsewhere, with optional mirroring
- Lattice (FFD) and puppet-pin deformation to reshape parts
- Color grading on the whole splat or just the selection, plus materials and lighting
- Inpainting and subdivision of sparse, blurry areas
- Colliders, measurements, version history (restore earlier saves), camera timeline and animation
Beyond splats
- Splat + mesh hybrid editing in Mesh mode
- AI mode for prompt-based edits and AI-assisted ad looks and videos
- Style mode to publish an embeddable web viewer with backgrounds, lighting, cinematic effects and analytics

FAQ
Can I edit a Gaussian splat without installing software?
Yes. The EVOVA Editor runs in the browser. Open https://app.evova.ai/editor, drop a PLY, SPZ, SOG, .splat or .ksplat file and edit it without an account; you only log in to save.
Which file formats does the EVOVA Editor support?
Import: PLY (including compressed PLY), SPZ, .splat, .ksplat, SOG and SOGS (.zip). Export: PLY, compressed PLY, SPZ, .splat, .ksplat, SOG and USD (USDA).
Can I deform or reshape a Gaussian splat?
Yes. Besides moving, rotating and scaling selections with proportional falloff, the editor has a grab brush, lattice (FFD) deformation and puppet pins for reshaping parts of a splat.
